CLOY in Switzerland (Aug 2022) - 10 Days

Depart Manila, enjoy inflight amenities, meals, and entertainment on board.

Welcome to Zurich! After meeting our English-speaking Tour Guide at the Airport, we board our coach and enjoy guided sightseeing of this beautiful city. The first stop will be atMunsterbrucke where we see two CLOY filming sites – the Munsterbrucke Bridge where the lonely Yoon Se-ri walked hoping to find her beloved, and Fraumunster Church which we see in the scene with Seo Dan and Ri Jeong Hyeok. Then we move to Lindenhof, a setting featured in several scenes, the most iconic perhaps is the one usually shown in the drama’s opening scene – the one where Captain Ri is in military uniform and the cosmopolitan Se-ri are seen walking past each other, years before their lives would intertwine. Before we end our sightseeing, we get to try and buy Switzerland’s famous chocolates at our LindtChocolate Factory tour. Free time for dinner then check into your hotel.

Hotel breakfast. Today, we explore Lake Zurich via a two-hour boat trip that will take us past picturesque villages along the lake. Our cruise ends in Rapperswil, a quaint town renowned for its medieval castle. We will have a short walking tour of the Old Town including the Castle tower. We also visit one of its popular Cheese Factory shops. Afterward, we go back to Zurich. Free time the rest of the day.

Check out from Zurich and depart for Hergiswil. Visit the Glasi Hergiswil museum then continue to Lucerne for a one-hour tour of the city covering the Chapel Bridge and the LionMonument. Free time at leisure then check into your hotel.

Hotel Breakfast. We continue our drive to Lungern and see for ourselves the scenic lake where the reunited Se-ri and Jeong Hyeok had a picnic towards the end of the series. Continue onwards to Interlaken. Free time at leisure.

Our first stop will be the new Top of Europe terminal at Grindelwald First. You will have freetime to explore Kleine Scheidegg. You will recognize this place as the site where both CLOY stars saw paragliders doing awesome stunts. Once more in their past, they were at the same place and time without knowing each other just yet. From here, we take the train to the famous Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. At 3,454 meters above sea level, it has the highest train station in Europe. Our CLOY stars had scenes here too. During our visit, don’t miss the Sphinx Viewing Observatory and the Ice palace. Return to Interlaken and free time at leisure.

Hotel Breakfast. Today we visit the sites of some of the most haunting moments of CLOY. We take a scenic cruise at Lake Brienz (like Se-ri did). Then we stop at Iseltwald and stand on that memorable landing stage where the grieving Jeong Hyeok played the piano facing such tranquil, majestic view. We then walk to Schorren, the location featured at the start of each episode where both lead stars face each other. We have time to enjoy Iseltwald and take our lunch here. Afterward, we catch the next boat to Giessbach. From the shore, the funicular will take us to Grandhotel Giessbach. This property appeared as the music school of Jeong Hyeok and the place where Dan visited him. Nearby, we can see the impressive Giessbach Falls. We then take the next boat to Brienz where the cruise ends. We end the day crossing the Sigriswil Panoramic Bridge before returning to Interlaken.

Check out from hotel and proceed to Zurich for an overnight before your departure. Freetime for shopping after check in.
